I'm almost tempted to say I'd rather it be subscription based if only to remove Boosters and AUR gear, but it's likely going to be Free to Play

Amazing.
Well you could easily still have that launcher, and only let you play Legion if you haven't payed. It would give incentive to free players to try out the other games, since they would be sitting there, EVERY time they logged into the game, just waiting for them to give it a try. They could even have links to the free trials, right there in the menu.

I also spoke with CCP Z on customization was a purchasable and he agrees completely it is sometihng needed.
I kind of hope for a mix, where like, colors would be a free thing, and then actual "attachments" or whatever, just aesthetic, would be for AUR. So, anyone could make a suit with corp colors or logos or whatever, but if they wanted to have a slightly different suit design, or thicker looking armor on their vehicle or, whatever, then they could pay for it.
Just a thought, I just want Logistics dropships back, and to not be bright ass yellow

I like the estimated time table for Legion because it gives me just enough time to get my **** in order and upgrade my rig, which I've been meaning to do for some time now. I was planning to do it for Star Citizen, but doing it a bit earlier for Legion suits me plenty fine.

I'm kind of torn as far as the cost goes. Part of me really wants to move away from micro transactions and boosters, so to that end, I almost wouldn't mind a subscription fee if the game was actually polished and ran great. On the other hand, the F2P model clearly works, and I do enjoy me a good free game.
Plenty of time left to see where that ball lands, though if I had to bet, it would be on F2P
